to opt in, from within steam follow these instructions.

Right click on DayZ in left column.
Click Properties
Choose the Betas tab.
Use the drop down to choose experimental.
It will download 1.8 GB file for .59

To reverse it follow these steps and choos the opt out option on the drop down menu.
